Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JWK008 is a small molecule agonist of Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) developed by Jingwukang (Beijing) Pharmaceutical Technology. By targeting TLR7, which is primarily expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) and B cells, JWK008 stimulates the innate immune system to produce Type I interferons (IFN-α) and other pro-inflammatory cytokines. This activation enhances the maturation and antigen-presenting capacity of dendritic cells, subsequently promoting the activation and proliferation of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells to generate a potent anti-tumor immune response. JWK008 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, where it is administered via intravenous infusion.
