JY007 is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets OX40 (tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4, TNFRSF4), a key regulator of T-cell immune responses. By binding to specific residues (Pro37, Ser38, and Asp40) on OX40, JY007 effectively inhibits the interaction between OX40 and its ligand OX40L (TNFSF4), thereby blocking downstream signaling involved in T cell-mediated autoimmune diseases. In addition to antagonizing the OX40/OX40L pathway, JY007 demonstrates antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) activity against activated T lymphocytes. This dual mechanism suggests potential efficacy in suppressing inflammatory responses associated with autoimmune conditions such as atopic dermatitis. The antibody was identified from a naïve human scFv phage library and has shown promising preclinical results for treating atopic dermatitis and potentially other autoimmune diseases[1][7].
