Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JY025 is a recombinant fully human monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2). It is being developed as an anti-angiogenic therapy for cancers, particularly for patients with EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The drug acts by inhibiting VEGFR2-mediated signaling pathways, thereby blocking tumor angiogenesis and growth. Clinical trials have evaluated its use in combination with EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors such as gefitinib or erlotinib in first-line treatment settings for NSCLC with specific EGFR mutations. The primary developer is Beijing Dongfang Biotech (also referred to as Beijing Eastern Biotech or Beijing Oriental Biotech)[1][3][5][9].
