JY026 is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody developed by Beijing Dongfang Baitai Biotechnology as a biosimilar of adalimumab. It functions as an anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) agent, specifically binding to soluble and transmembrane TNF-α to prevent the activation of TNF receptors (p55 and p75) on cell surfaces. This inhibition disrupts the pro-inflammatory cytokine cascade that drives various autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. JY026 has received clinical trial approval from the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) for the treatment of conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and plaque psoriasis.
