Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JY232 is an innovative *in vivo* chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Genocury Biotech for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. Unlike traditional *ex vivo* CAR-T therapies that require complex manufacturing processes involving the extraction, modification, and re-infusion of a patient's cells, JY232 is designed to genetically engineer T-cells directly within the patient's body. Delivered as a single intravenous injection, the therapy utilizes a proprietary delivery system to express CARs that target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on malignant plasma cells. This approach aims to simplify the treatment landscape for multiple myeloma by providing a more accessible, off-the-shelf therapeutic option while maintaining the high efficacy associated with CAR-T cell interventions.
