Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JZP341 is an investigational drug developed by Jazz Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors. It has been described as a long-acting asparaginase bio-better, engineered to have improved pharmacokinetic properties such as increased serum half-life through the addition of a disordered proline-alanine-serine (PAS) tail[7]. In clinical trials, it has also been characterized as a DNA synthesis reducer with a novel mechanism of action[9]. The drug is administered intravenously and is being evaluated in adult patients who have not responded to standard treatments for their solid tumors[4][9].
