K-001 is an oral, investigational **Spirulina-derived peptidoglycan complex** developed by Hwealth Pharmaceutical as an antineoplastic immunomodulatory biologic. It is prepared from fermentation-derived marine microorganism material and is intended to stimulate innate immune activity and thereby support antitumor immune responses. Clinical development in China has included advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, advanced hepatocellular carcinoma, and advanced gastric cancer.
