Overview

K-301 is a non-steroid topical drug candidate developed by Moberg Pharma for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. It is based on the patented Kaprolac principle and has demonstrated clinically meaningful improvements in symptoms such as erythema and desquamation compared to placebo in Phase II clinical trials. The drug was well tolerated, with most adverse events being mild and limited to local reactions like smarting or burning upon application. Its primary indication is seborrheic dermatitis (also referred to as seborrhoeic eczema) of the scalp.
