Overview

**K-NK004** is an off-the-shelf natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed using Kiadis Pharma's proprietary K-NK platform, featuring CD38 knockout (CD38KO) NK cells derived from universal donors and expanded ex vivo with PM21 particle technology. It is designed to resist fratricide by anti-CD38 monoclonal antibodies like Sanofi's Sarclisa (isatuximab), enabling enhanced antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) against CD38-expressing tumor cells. Primarily intended for multiple myeloma in combination with anti-CD38 therapies, it addresses NK cell depletion that limits antibody efficacy; Sanofi licensed it exclusively in 2020 and later acquired Kiadis to advance development across blood cancers and solid tumors.[1][2][3]
