Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KACM001 is an autologous cell therapy developed by Beijing Biohealthcare Biotechnology Co., Ltd. using its proprietary MTCA-CTL (Multi-Target Antigen-specific Cytotoxic T Lymphocyte) platform. The therapy involves the expansion and activation of a patient's own cytotoxic lymphocytes to target and eliminate tumor cells. It is primarily being investigated for the treatment of locally advanced unresectable or metastatic gastric cancer. Clinical data presented at the 2023 ASCO Annual Meeting indicated a favorable safety profile and promising efficacy. It is currently being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials, often in combination with chemotherapy regimens like S-1/oxaliplatin or cisplatin.
