Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kademin SCX (marketed as KAdermin) is a topical medical device developed for wound management and skin protection. The product features the proprietary SCX technology, which consists of silicon dioxide functionalized with silver ions and chlorhexidine, creating a protective antimicrobial barrier against external pathogens. In addition to its antimicrobial properties, the formulation contains sodium hyaluronate (0.2%), aloe barbadensis, olive oil, and a blend of amino acids (L-lysine, L-proline, L-leucine, and glycine) that support tissue hydration and the physiological healing process. It is indicated for the treatment of minor wounds, burns, pressure sores, and other dermatological lesions.
