Kaitong Buzhure

Kaitong Buzhure is a traditional Uyghur medicine (TUM) developed by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Institute of Drug Research. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of hepatitis A and other forms of acute jaundice hepatitis. Formulated based on the principles of Uyghur medicine, it is designed to treat "Buzhure" (heat-related) syndromes by clearing heat, detoxifying the liver, and acting as a cholagogue to promote bile flow. The medication is typically administered in granule or tablet form and is recognized for its ability to reduce jaundice and normalize liver enzyme levels such as ALT and AST. It is officially included in the Chinese pharmaceutical standards for Uyghur medicines.
