kalium muriaticum

Kalium Muriaticum (also known as Kali Muriaticum or Kali Mur) is a homeopathic remedy whose active ingredient is potassium chloride (KCl). It is one of the 12 Schuessler biochemic tissue salts, introduced into homeopathic practice by Wilhelm Schüssler, and is prepared through the homeopathic process of potentization. In clinical research, it has been evaluated as a component of a homeopathic combination product—alongside Agraphis nutans, Thuya occidentalis, and Arsenicum iodatum—as an adjuvant to standard aerosol therapy (ambroxol and budesonide) in children with otitis media with effusion (secretory otitis or 'glue ear'). Traditionally, Kalium Muriaticum is indicated for catarrhal and inflammatory conditions, particularly of the ears, nose, and throat, including ear infections, eustachian tube congestion, and nasal congestion with white discharge. As a homeopathic preparation, it has no known specific biological target in the conventional pharmacological sense.
