Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kalladaippu Kudineer is a classical Siddha polyherbal decoction (Kudineer) primarily indicated for the treatment of urolithiasis, known as Kalladaippu in the Siddha system of medicine. The formulation is prepared as a water extract of various medicinal plants traditionally recognized for their lithontriptic (stone-dissolving) and diuretic properties. It is often studied in combination or comparison with other Siddha formulations like Sindhuvallathy Mezhugu. Clinical evaluations, such as those conducted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and the National Institute of Siddha, focus on its efficacy in promoting the expulsion of urinary stones or reducing their size and number over a standard treatment course.
