Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KAN-NEURO-03 is a preclinical-stage, first-in-class small molecule drug candidate being developed for the treatment of rare neurological and neuromuscular disorders. Discovered using Kantify's proprietary AI platform, Sapian, the drug acts as a modulator of an orphan sodium channel. By targeting a previously undruggable sodium channel, KAN-NEURO-03 represents a novel therapeutic approach for orphan conditions with significant unmet medical needs. The program is currently in the lead optimization phase and is being developed by Kantify in partnership with INSERM-ITN and INSERM-IGF.
