Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KAN-NEURO-07 is a small molecule calcium channel modulator currently in preclinical development for the treatment of essential tremor. Discovered and developed by Kantify using its proprietary Sapian AI platform, the program is being advanced in collaboration with researchers from INSERM (specifically the Institut des Neurosciences de Montpellier and the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle). The drug is designed to target calcium channel activity to address the neurological dysfunction underlying essential tremor, a common movement disorder characterized by involuntary rhythmic shaking. As of early 2024, the program remains in the preclinical validation stage.
