Overview

Jin na dan kang is a biosimilar version of kanakinumab, a human monoclonal antibody developed by GenSci (Changchun Jinsai Pharmaceutical). It is designed to target and neutralize interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β), a key mediator of inflammation in various autoinflammatory diseases. By binding to IL-1β, the antibody prevents it from interacting with its receptors, thereby blocking the activation of inflammatory pathways. Jin na dan kang is being developed for the treatment of systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) and gout, and has been evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity in healthy volunteers. The drug is formulated as a lyophilized powder for subcutaneous injection.
