kangfuyan

Kangfuyan is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation available in capsule form. It is primarily used for the treatment of gynecological inflammatory conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), chronic pelvic pain (CPP), irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea (painful periods), adnexitis (inflammation of the uterine appendages), vaginitis, endometritis, and other related disorders. The formula contains multiple herbal ingredients including dandelion root (Taraxacum mongolicum), Patrinia scabiosaefolia root, coix seed (Coix lacryma-jobi), red peony root (Paeonia lactiflora), atractylodes lancea rhizome, Chinese angelica root (Angelica sinensis), Szechwan lovage rhizome (Ligusticum chuanxiong hort.), nutgrass galingale rhizome (Cyperus rotundus), corydalis tuber (Corydalis yanhusuo), and spreading hedyotis herb. Its mechanism of action is based on TCM principles—clearing heat and toxins from the body, removing blood stasis and stagnation, dehumidifying tissues to reduce pathological discharge ("leucorrhea"), regulating qi flow to alleviate pain and inflammation.
