Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Kanglixin capsules** are an oral, eight-component traditional Chinese medicine product manufactured by Yunnan Mingyang Pharmaceutical and approved in China for digestive-tract, breast, and lung malignant tumors associated with the traditional Chinese medicine pattern of qi and blood stasis. The formula contains asafoetida, Aspongopus chinensis, clove, costus root, Cordyceps sinensis, chebulic myrobalan, rhubarb, and turmeric. Its labeled traditional therapeutic principles are strengthening the body's resistance, eliminating pathogenic factors, softening hardness, and dissipating masses. A published randomized study evaluated kanglixin capsules with paclitaxel plus cisplatin chemotherapy in advanced non-small cell lung cancer, while a 2025 network-pharmacology study proposed multi-target activity; however, a clinically established molecular target and mechanism have not been defined.
