Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kangmin Zhenke Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) product developed by Tianjin Rohto Chinese Medicine for the treatment of cough variant asthma (CVA). It is specifically formulated to address the TCM pattern of 'wind-evil stagnating in lung' (风邪犯肺证), a condition characterized by chronic, paroxysmal coughing often triggered by allergens or cold air. The formulation is currently being evaluated in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 clinical trial in China to assess its efficacy in reducing cough symptoms and improving lung function in adult patients.
