Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kangshuan Jiaonang (Antithrombotic Capsule) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pharmaceutical product developed and manufactured by Shaanxi Kanghui Pharmaceutical. Administered orally in capsule form, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, particularly those involving thrombosis. The formulation is designed to promote blood circulation, resolve blood stasis, and dredge meridians. In clinical practice within China, it is commonly used during the recovery phase of ischemic stroke (cerebral infarction) to address symptoms such as hemiplegia and numbness, as well as for coronary heart disease. As a complex TCM formulation, its therapeutic effects are derived from the synergistic action of multiple herbal and animal-derived components known for their anticoagulant and antiplatelet properties.
