Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kanli Granule (坎离颗粒) is a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine formulated as granules. It is used as an adjunct therapy in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF), particularly to improve skeletal muscle dysfunction associated with CHF. Clinical studies suggest that when added to standard Western medical treatment, Kanli Granule can significantly enhance skeletal muscle function, increase grip strength and exercise tolerance, and reduce perceived exertion and resting blood lactate levels in CHF patients. The precise mechanism of action is not fully elucidated but is believed to involve modulation of metabolic pathways related to muscle fatigue and energy utilization[6]. The formula consists of multiple herbal ingredients typical of traditional Chinese medicine; however, the exact composition may vary by manufacturer.
