Kantrexil

Kantrexil is an **oral five-component combination pharmaceutical** marketed by Opus Pharmaceuticals in South Africa for the treatment of specific and non-specific gastroenteritis. The formulation contains **attapulgite activated, bismuth subcarbonate, dimevamide, kanamycin sulfate, and pectin** and is described as a 5-in-1 product combining an **aminoglycoside antibiotic**, gastroprotective activity, adsorbent activity, antispasmodic activity, and fluid-normalizing effects.
