Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KaraLiv is a proprietary herbal blend developed by Karallief, Inc., designed to support liver health and maintain healthy liver enzyme levels. The formulation consists of standardized extracts from six plants: *Momordica charantia* (bitter melon), *Phyllanthus niruri*, *Andrographis paniculata*, *Brassica rapa*, *Asparagus racemosus*, and *Zingiber officinale* (ginger). Clinical evidence from a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial indicates that a 1,000 mg daily dose significantly reduces levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in individuals with mild to moderately elevated liver enzymes. It is marketed as a powdered ingredient for use in dietary supplements, functional foods, and beverages.
