Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KaraShield is a multi-herbal nutraceutical ingredient developed by Karallief Inc. It is a proprietary, plant-based botanical blend comprising extracts from four species: *Andrographis paniculata*, *Withania somnifera* (Ashwagandha), *Moringa oleifera*, and *Ocimum sanctum* (Holy Basil). The formula is designed to enhance the body's immune defense mechanisms and has been clinically shown to significantly reduce the frequency and severity of common cold symptoms within seven days of use. Clinical data indicates that KaraShield supplementation leads to a significant increase in immunoglobulin G (IgG) levels and a significant decrease in high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) levels, suggesting both immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects. It is intended for use by manufacturers in the development of dietary supplements and functional products rather than for direct sale to consumers as a pharmaceutical drug.
