Karvol Plus

Karvol Plus is an inhalation decongestant developed and marketed by Indoco Remedies. It is a combination product containing a blend of aromatic oils and natural substances, specifically camphor, chlorothymol, eucalyptol, terpinol, and menthol. Formulated as a soft gelatin capsule intended for inhalation rather than ingestion, it is used to provide symptomatic relief from nasal congestion caused by the common cold, respiratory infections, coryza, and bronchitis. The mechanism of action involves the release of vapors that soothe the respiratory tract, thin thickened mucus, and facilitate drainage, thereby easing breathing difficulties. It is indicated for use in adults and children as young as 3 months.
