KAYO-1732 is an orally available small-molecule inhibitor of aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A3 (ALDH1A3), developed by Kayothera. It acts by inhibiting retinoid synthesis in the pancreas, adipose tissue, and vasculature, thereby targeting the retinoid nuclear receptor pathway.
