The evaluated 2016–2017 formulation included A/California/7/2009 H1N1pdm09, A/Hong Kong/4801/2014 H3N2, and B/Brisbane/60/2008 strains. Viruses are inactivated with beta-propiolactone and split with Triton X-100.
