Overview

KBA-1704 is an investigational anti-desmoglein 2 (DSG2) monoclonal antibody therapy developed by Kling Biotherapeutics. It is being studied as an antineoplastic immunotherapy, with its primary mechanism of action involving the inhibition or modulation of desmoglein 2, a cell adhesion molecule implicated in cancer progression. The drug is currently in preclinical development for cancer indications, including colonic cancer and Lynch syndrome II. As a new molecular entity, it represents a novel approach to targeting DSG2 in oncology[1][2].
