Overview

**KBA1412 + pembrolizumab** is an investigational combination therapy consisting of **KBA1412**, a fully human, patient-derived monoclonal antibody, and **pembrolizumab** (KEYTRUDA), a well-established anti-PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor. KBA1412 was isolated from a long-term melanoma remission patient and demonstrates strong reactivity toward melanoma cell lines; its mechanism involves immune-mediated targeting of cancer cells, possibly via novel epitopes within the tumor microenvironment. Pembrolizumab blocks the programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1) on T cells, leading to restored immune surveillance and increased anti-tumor activity. Preclinical evidence indicates that combining KBA1412 with checkpoint inhibition could provide additional antitumor benefits in solid tumors[1][2].
