KBD880 (DOTA-KBD-GPC3) is a peptide-based radiopharmaceutical conjugate designed for the treatment of Glypican-3 (GPC3)-expressing malignancies, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The agent consists of a high-affinity macrocyclic peptide binder for GPC3, a linker, and a DOTA chelator for complexation with therapeutic radioisotopes such as Lutetium-177 (177Lu). GPC3 is a membrane-associated glycoprotein that is highly overexpressed in HCC while showing minimal expression in normal tissues, making it an ideal target for radiopharmaceutical therapy.
