Overview

KD-055 is a humanized monoclonal antibody (hAb) developed by KAEDI Medical that targets Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2). CLDN18.2 is a tight junction protein that is highly expressed in several types of solid tumors, including gastric, gastroesophageal junction, and pancreatic cancers, while having restricted expression in normal tissues. By binding to CLDN18.2, KD-055 is intended to induce anti-tumor activity, likely through immune-mediated effector functions such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). The candidate is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical development, making it one of the more advanced programs in KAEDI Medical's pipeline.
