Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KD-105 is a humanized monoclonal antibody (hAb) developed by KAEDI Medical that targets CD33 (also known as Siglec-3), a transmembrane receptor primarily expressed on cells of the myeloid lineage. CD33 is a well-characterized biomarker and therapeutic target for myeloid malignancies, as it is found on the surface of leukemic blasts in the majority of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). KD-105 is currently in the preclinical stage of development and is designed to bind specifically to CD33 to induce the depletion of malignant myeloid cells, likely through immune-mediated mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) or antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP).
