KD-380

KD-380 is a 10% liquid intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) preparation developed by KM Biologics, a subsidiary of Meiji Holdings. It is a human plasma-derived biologic containing a highly concentrated and purified pool of polyvalent immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies. KD-380 is primarily indicated for the treatment of primary immunodeficiency disorders, such as agammaglobulinemia and hypogammaglobulinemia, where it provides passive immunity by replacing missing antibodies. Additionally, it is being developed for autoimmune and neurological conditions, specifically chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), where it exerts immunomodulatory effects. These effects include the saturation of Fc receptors on effector cells, neutralization of pathogenic autoantibodies, and inhibition of complement-mediated damage.
