Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KD103 is an experimental drug candidate being developed by Kwang Dong Pharmaceutical in collaboration with Seoul National University for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Currently in the preclinical stage, KD103 is a multi-target therapeutic agent designed to address the complex pathology of the disease. It is reported to function by inhibiting the aggregation of amyloid-beta and tau proteins, which are hallmark features of Alzheimer's neurodegeneration. The technology for KD103 was licensed from Seoul National University to expand Kwang Dong's central nervous system (CNS) research and development pipeline.
