KD6001

KD6001 is a novel, fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) on T cells. By binding to CTLA-4, KD6001 inhibits the CTLA-4-mediated downregulation of T-cell activation, thereby enhancing cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL)-mediated immune responses against cancer cells. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of solid tumors, with a focus on advanced melanoma. Clinical studies have shown that when combined with toripalimab (an anti-PD-1 antibody), KD6001 demonstrates safety, tolerability, and promising antitumor activity in patients with advanced melanoma who have progressed after prior anti-PD-1/L1 therapy[2][3][4][5][7]. The drug is administered intravenously.
