KDF1901-L

KDF1901-L is an oral, fixed-dose triple antihypertensive tablet developed by Kyungdong Pharmaceutical for essential hypertension. It contains valsartan 80 mg, amlodipine 5 mg, and chlorthalidone 12.5 mg. Valsartan blocks angiotensin II type 1 receptors, amlodipine inhibits L-type calcium channels in vascular smooth muscle, and chlorthalidone inhibits the renal sodium-chloride symporter, producing complementary blood-pressure lowering through vasodilation and natriuresis. KDF1901-L was used as a lower-dose triple-combination treatment period in the completed Phase 3 KDF1901-3H study.
