**KDF1901-R0** is an oral fixed-dose antihypertensive combination developed by Kyungdong Pharmaceutical containing **valsartan 80 mg and amlodipine 5 mg**. It combines angiotensin II type 1 receptor blockade by valsartan with L-type calcium-channel inhibition by amlodipine to reduce vasoconstriction and lower blood pressure. KDF1901-R0 was used as the 4-week run-in dual-therapy regimen in a Phase 3 study of the related triple combination KDF1901 for essential hypertension.
