Overview
Ke Luoxin (also known as Keluoxin) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) capsule developed by Chengdu Kanghong Pharmaceutical for the treatment of nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR). The formulation is designed to address the TCM syndrome of qi-yin deficiency with blood stasis, which is frequently observed in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Ke Luoxin aims to improve retinal microcirculation, reduce vascular leakage, and slow the progression of diabetic eye disease. It has been studied in Phase 2 clinical trials in China to evaluate its efficacy and safety in adults with moderate to severe NPDR.
