Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kecu Yinketone Gel (克痤隐酮凝胶) is a topical combination medication developed and manufactured by Hefei Everlife Pharmaceutical for the treatment of acne vulgaris, including inflammatory acne and blackheads. The formulation integrates four active ingredients: tanshinone (extracted from *Salvia miltiorrhiza*), tretinoin (retinoic acid), trimethoprim, and chlorhexidine hydrochloride. Tanshinone provides anti-inflammatory and anti-androgenic effects while inhibiting the growth of *Cutibacterium acnes*. Tretinoin acts as a keratolytic agent, regulating epithelial cell growth and preventing the formation of comedones. Trimethoprim and chlorhexidine serve as broad-spectrum antibacterial agents to reduce skin infection and inflammation. This product is widely approved and marketed in China as a standard treatment for various stages of acne.
