Kegan Liyan Oral Solution

Kegan Liyan Oral Solution (克感利咽口服液) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) oral liquid formulation developed by Guangzhou Wanglaoji Pharmaceutical. It is composed of 14 herbal ingredients, including *Lonicera japonica* (honeysuckle), *Scutellaria baicalensis* (scutellaria), *Nepeta tenuifolia* (nepeta), *Gardenia jasminoides* (gardenia), *Forsythia suspensa* (forsythia), *Scrophularia ningpoensis* (scrophularia), *Bombyx batryticatus* (processed with ginger), *Rehmannia glutinosa* (rehmannia), *Belamcanda chinensis*, *Platycodon grandiflorus*, *Mentha haplocalyx*, *Periostracum cicadae*, *Saposhnikovia divaricate*, and *Glycyrrhiza uralensis*. It is traditionally used to clear heat, resolve dampness, and relieve sore throat symptoms associated with wind-heat syndrome, such as in acute pharyngitis, influenza, and mild COVID-19. Guangzhou Wanglaoji Pharmaceutical is conducting Phase III clinical trials in China to evaluate its efficacy and safety for acute pharyngitis (wind-heat syndrome).
