Overview
Kehuang Capsules (克癀胶囊) is a proprietary traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Kexing Biopharmaceutical. It is formulated to clear heat, detoxify the body, resolve swelling, and alleviate pain. Clinically, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and infectious conditions, including acute and chronic viral hepatitis, cholecystitis, and localized infections such as sore throat and furuncles (boils). The formulation typically consists of several traditional ingredients known for their anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective properties, including Artificial Calculus Bovis (人工牛黄), Artificial Moschus (人工麝香), Margarita (珍珠), Sanchi (三七), and Snake Gallbladder (蛇胆). It is recognized as a National Essential Medicine in China and is included in the National Medical Insurance Catalog.
