Keluo Xin is an oral Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical drug developed by Chengdu Kanghong Pharmaceutical for the treatment of nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR). It is a multi-component formulation designed to address the microvascular complications of diabetes by improving retinal microcirculation, reducing vascular permeability, and mitigating oxidative stress and inflammation. The drug is currently in Phase 2 clinical development, where it is being evaluated for its efficacy and safety in patients with moderately severe to severe NPDR, with the goal of slowing disease progression and preventing vision loss.
