Overview
Kemaiping Granules (渴脉平颗粒) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Beijing Houcheng Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of diabetic kidney disease (DKD). It is specifically designed to address the "Qi and Yin deficiency with blood stasis" pattern, a common TCM syndrome associated with chronic renal complications in diabetic patients. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials in China (e.g., CTR20254571) as an adjunctive therapy for patients already receiving stable doses of standard-of-care treatments such as ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs).
