Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KeraGenics Muscle is a keratin-based biomaterial scaffold developed by KeraNetics for the treatment of volumetric muscle loss (VML) and muscle regeneration. It is designed as a hydrogel matrix for local implantation or application at the site of surgical repair. The scaffold provides a structural and biological environment that facilitates cell infiltration and endogenous tissue growth, promoting the repair of large-scale muscle defects where natural healing is insufficient. Unlike traditional pharmaceutical drugs, it functions as a tissue regeneration matrix rather than targeting specific molecular pathways.
