Keraheal

Keraheal is an autologous cell therapy composed of skin-derived keratinocytes, developed by Biosolution (formerly CO Solution) for the treatment of severe burns. The product is prepared by culturing a small sample of the patient's own skin to expand the keratinocyte population, which is then applied to the burn wound using a topical spray system. This approach facilitates rapid re-epithelialization and wound closure, particularly in patients with deep second-degree or third-degree burns covering more than 30% (or 10% in specific cases) of the total body surface area. It is currently approved and marketed in South Korea.
