Keratinase PB333 is a recombinant proteolytic enzyme developed by Proteos Biotech for use in aesthetic medicine and dermatology. Produced through recombinant biotechnology, this enzyme specifically targets and degrades keratin and keratinized proteins within the skin tissue. Its primary mechanism involves the selective proteolysis of the keratinized layer of the stratum corneum, which promotes skin renewal, improves texture, and enhances the permeability of the skin for other active ingredients.
