Overview
Kerato Vita (also marketed as Kerato VitA) is a preservative-free ophthalmic ointment developed by Bruschettini. It is formulated with a combination of dexpanthenol (2%), vitamin A (retinyl palmitate), and vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol acetate) in an emollient base of petrolatum, liquid paraffin, lanolin, and cetearyl alcohol. The ointment is indicated for the long-term improvement of the tear film and intensive protection of the ocular surface. It promotes normal re-epithelialization and provides relief from symptoms of dry eyes, burning, irritation, and mechanical or environmental stress.
