Overview

**KES-0001** is a small molecule inhibitor of Gadd45β (growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible protein 45 beta), a protein that regulates stress-induced signaling pathways involved in cancer cell survival and proliferation. By targeting Gadd45β, it disrupts gene expression and signaling cascades that promote oncogenesis, offering a novel approach for hematological malignancies. Initially developed by Imperial College London and advanced by Kesios Therapeutics, it has been evaluated in early-phase clinical trials for multiple myeloma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, with a Phase 1/2a study assessing safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in advanced cancers.
