Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KET01 is a proprietary, oral prolonged-release formulation of racemic ketamine developed as an adjunctive treatment for major depressive disorder (MDD), with a primary focus on treatment-resistant depression (TRD). Unlike traditional intravenous or intranasal ketamine therapies, KET01 is designed for at-home use and aims to provide rapid antidepressant effects while minimizing the dissociative and cardiovascular side effects commonly associated with other ketamine-based treatments. Clinical trials have demonstrated that KET01 can induce early improvements in depressive symptoms, with minimal incidences of dissociation or cardiovascular adverse events. The drug is currently progressing into pivotal Phase 3 clinical trials following promising results from Phase 2 studies[2][4][6][7][9].
